Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using the Cyber Trust Council website and services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.

2. Membership

Free and paid memberships are available. You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate and secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

3. Acceptable use

  • Do not misuse the service, attempt to access it in unauthorised ways, or disrupt other users.
  • Do not use our content to provide a competing product without written permission.
  • Do not upload unlawful, harmful or infringing content.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Paid plans (including ROPA) are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Intellectual property

All content, templates, badges and materials are owned by the Cyber Trust Council or its licensors. Members receive a limited, non-exclusive licence to use materials for their own organisation's internal compliance and marketing.

6. Disclaimer

Our resources are provided for general guidance and do not constitute legal advice. You are responsible for assessing whether they meet your organisation's specific compliance needs.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the services is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
